How To Write Better Content For Your Website

Writing content for your website or blog can be hard. Writing well written, easy to understand content is even harder. Some people are excellent writers, but most are not. If English is not your first language or if you have problems with grammar your content will suffer. Luckily there is an easy way to improve your writing for free.
Write Better Content
I am not a good writer (jokes in the comment section, please). I have found two tools that I use for all my writing that has improved my writing.

Hemingway App

Hemingway
Hemingway App is a web-based tool that you use like any editor. The application grades your writing and offers suggestions for improvement. The application gives you a readability score (the lower the better). It also shows you hard to read sentences and some basic grammar mistakes.
Using Hemingway App has helped my improve the readability of my writing. Improved readability has helped with visitor engagement and also improved organic search traffic.
You can find Hemingway App Here.

Grammarly

Grammar Checker
Grammarly is the second application I use every time I write content. This is another web based application that can improve your writing. Grammarly checks your writing for common grammar and spelling mistakes. When it finds mistakes it shows you a correction that you can make or ignore.
Grammarly is useful for people where English is not their first language. It allows you to improve your grammar and makes sure your writing is correct.
You can find Grammarly here.

How I use Hemingway App and Grammarly

I use both of the applications together by using Chrome web browser. I write articles on the Hemingway App site and use the Grammarly Chrome extension. This way as I am writing the article Hemingway is measuring readability. Grammarly is also checking the spelling and grammar.
If you are looking to improve your writing for you website. Or you are just looking to improve your writing in general, take a look at the tools above. Both tools are free and when you combine them in the Chrome browser they are easy to use. As always if you have any other tools to suggest get in touch below.
